We learned...

-how to have fun on the slides at the barbeque (Neithen)

-how to do different types of skipping (Emma)

-to group coins together in groups of 25 cents or 10 cents (Brandon B.)

-that the play structures are going to be installed on Monday May 26 (Evelyn)

-that we have to plan ahead in order to  complete tasks like homework, putting in a play structure etc. (Emma)

-more about outer space (Neithen)

-that text/words underlined in red means it could be spelled wrong or the computer doesn't recognize it

-word family EE, the word glee means joy/happy (Emma)

-more about the word family ILL (Brandon, Jenna, Samantha)

-how to make groups of 10 (Brandon B and S)

-more about the talent show and that Andrew is really good at beat boxing

-responding to feedback by listening the first time to teachers (Neithen and Jason)

-resiliency- when something changes or a when there is a problem... we can handle it (Evelyn) like the Olympian Silken Laumen who had a very serious injury before the Olympics.   She didn't give up and she finished third and won a bronze medal.  

-when we are mad we can let it go and when we are sad it is hard to learn , so when we feel mad or sad we need to calm down and choose a strategy to help us feel better, then we can learn better (Evelyn and Samantha S)

-how to write a poem using our five senses, sight, hearing, taste, smell and feeling.  (Andrew, Kimmy, Neithen, and Emma)
